Recently Brave New Worlds has changed its name to become Xao Inc. Before becoming Xao, Brave New Worlds was the e-commerce division of VA Linux Systems.
Symphero E-Commerce Package
Symphero is an open source software e-commerce package. Originally designed as a commerce, content, and customer management system, it is based on the Apache web server, and written in PERL and supports various back-end databases. It has been deployed in a wide number of industries and is available under the Free BSD license. Symphero has become the basis for CP Commerce, the commerce module of the Clearingpoint Server.
